Neat interface, language problem

After updating the new version, the whole app became in Korean.. I cant understand any Korean..

What happened?

The app was great and when I upgraded now everything is in Korean but was english before. Please bring back the english version here in the US.

Need to translate in english - please.

KE APP to English

Click the top left icon which is the menu. Then the settings gear 1 up from the bottom options. Then click on the 1 up from the bottom for KR/EN choice. Hope it works for you.

Terrible update

This new update is a significant step back in language support and responsiveness. I loved the changes Korean Air had made to the previous version with clean and large buttons presenting relevant information upfront. This new design is a cluster of banners and animated tiles. It looks like a badly designed website from the 90s!

What are they thinking!

Its all in Korean and no way to change it to English! How can they be so stupid! Totally useless! How about a update for us non-Korean! Deserves No Stars!

Why there is no English or Chinese version?

My language order is CHT CHS ENG JPN. BUT All texts are in Korean and I have to learn a new language now.

Unusable **Update**

Just downloaded the app update and all the text switched to Korean. Now I cant do anything. Update: App is now displaying English again.

Korean Air cannot do online services well

March 17 2015 Update: Why would you remove Touch ID login from the app? Now I have to enter my user name and password every time I open the app... To check-in, to go through security, to board the plane... It is incredibly annoying. The Touch ID login in the previous version worked well. Additionally, Passbook support would be very help. I am not sure why Korean Air has such weak online services. They try to blame it on Korean regulations, but they are behind the times when compared to other companies in Korea... This newly designed app demonstrates their inability to get it right... Trying to book a flight and cannot move past the options screen. The newly designed website doesnt work (though it is pretty) and this app doesnt either. Still cannot book or pay for a flight online... I still have to continue to make phone calls to Korean Air and pay the higher prices. Disappointed yet again.

Awful

The app is basically an interface to the website which is awful in its own way. Its quit surprising that in this day and age "big" companies still cant come up with a decent app and website. This is even more surprising considering that South Korea is at the forefront of technology. The least thing that the person responsible for technology at Korean Air can do is to look at other airlines websites and apps and make one like them. But obviously management is more worried about how nuts are served than the website or the app.

App Died After 2 Days

As of 04/12/2015, nothing works. It says "Forbidden - You dont have permission to access /content/koreanair-mobile/global/.html on this server." Great App!

completely broke

not sure why KE felt the need to revamp the previous rev of the app but now it doesnt work. and there doesnt seem to be an option to switch languages either. great job, guys!

Far worse than the earlier version.

This update is far inferior to the earlier update as the user interface is disorienting. Cant seem to find my way around and starts with Korean as a default. Also if you look at the app description, there are some grammatical errors. Just seems a little unprofessional to me. Update: now they fixed the bug and can see in English. Still think the interface is ugly and fonts are too small for an iPhone. Like the old version much better. Like someone said, management is far more concerned how the nut is served than the website or the app.

Great application but just one more thing

Please add to passbook where we can store our SKYPASS. card to PassBook. Overall excellent application. Thanks Korean Air app developers

Please fix. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Also no option to search international flight from anywhere but Korea Edit: now only in Korean? This thing keeps getting worse and worse

Pretty good airline app

For some reason, corporations cant make a proper app but this one seems better than usual. Surely better than previous versions. However it has a bug where the language defaults to Korean every time you restart the app. Possible to change back to English but of course you need to feel your way around the Korean interface. Hope its a bug and not a "feature". Please beta test this with non-Korean users before releasing.

Worthless to me. Wanted to use app but after I registered it defaults to Korean language No English feature??
